1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c.self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. pecans, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease and flour a 9" x 13" baking dish. Stir together, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and oil in a medium bowl until smooth. Stir in flour & vanilla. Add pecans and stir until evenly mixed. Spoon into prepared pan & bake for 30 - 35 min.

Melinda is the wife of Steven Hill, the daughter of Dennie & Linda (Bock) Chance, the granddaughter of Barbara & the late Bob Bock & the great granddaughter of the late Fraser & Louella (Hollenshead) Crow. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top. This cake is great for potluck dinners.
