3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 can of beer, any brand but not the light version
1/2 to 1 stick melted butter
1/2 c. grated cheese, Parmesan, Cheddar or your favorite - you can even mix
1 T. herbs, dried or fresh, such as rosemary, thyme, garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together. Prepare a loaf pan with vegetable spray and spoon dough into the pan. Top with melted butter, then sprinkle with the grated cheese and herbs. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 45 min. to 1 hr. Bread is done when golden brown and hollow sounding when tapped.

Linda is the wife of Dennie Chance, the daughter of Barbara (Crow) Bock & the late Bob Bock & the granddaughter of the late Fraser and Louella (Hollenshead) Crow. The bread is really good and easy to do; goes really well with lasagna and spaghetti .
