Sauce: 1 t. basil, 1 t. oregano, 1/2 t. fennel, 1 t. Italian seasoning, 28 oz. can tomato puree, 1 can stewed tomatoes, 1 can black olives, chopped. Mix all ingredients together in a large pot. Add some mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and some cooked sausage, if desired. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. The longer you cook, the better the sauce will be.

Crust: Can use 2 frozen loaves, thawed and prepared as per package directions, or use the pizza dough recipe from the Sausage Tomato Pizza recipe.

Stuffing: Lots of Mozzarella, grated Parmesan and Romano cheese, 1/4 cup olive oil and 3 packages frozen spinach (drained). Optional/alternative ingredients: Sausage, ham or pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms. Mix together, leaving some of the mozzarella for the top of the pizza.

Layer in a deep pie dish: Layer of bread dough rolled in circle; stuffing layer, another layer of bread dough; and sauce.

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Remove from oven, add reserve Mozzarella to top and return to oven for 10 minutes (or until the cheese is melted).

Sauce may be doubled and frozen for later use.
