Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 pkg frozen puff pastry sheet (1 sheet)
1 pkg (3.5 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup milk
sweetened whipping cream
sliced strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw puff pastry for 30 minutes on the counter, heating oven to 400. Unfold pastry on a lightly floured cutting board and cut into 3 strips along the fold line. Cut each strip into 4 rectangles. Place 2" apart on a baking sheet, bake 15 minutes till golden brown, then cool on a wire rack off of the sheet.

Prepare pudding mix according to the package directions using only 1 cup of milk. Fold in whipped cream. Refrigerate this till you need it.

Split pastries into 2 layers. To make each serving, spread bottom layer of pastry with pudding/whipped cream mix. Top this with strawberries and the lid of the pastry. Scoop on more pudding mix and top with strawberries. Serve immediately.

*For the sweetened whipped cream you can use frozen or refrigerated whipped cream but if you want to avoid the chemicals, beat 3/4 cup heavy or whipping cream, 2 tsp sugar and 1/4 tsp vanilla till stiff peaks form. Using a pre-chilled bowl helps speed this process.

This is our favorite dessert. It looks sophisticated but is extremely easy!
