1 1/2 c. milk
2 T. margarine
3 lg. eggs, or 4 sm.
1 c. sugar
1 T. corn starch
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 (9") deep dish pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Mix milk and margarine in a small saucepan; scald. Combine sugar and corn starch. Beat eggs lightly and strain through tea strainer twice. Add the sugar/corn starch mixture to eggs; stir. Add hot milk and vanilla, stir. Pour into pie crust. Bake on bottom rack of oven. When lightly browned, turn a large pie pan over it and let finish baking. Bake 20-25 min. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Will be shakey, but will be firm when cool.
