3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. oil
1 T. milk
1 tsp. almond extract (use 1/2 tsp)
1 egg
1-1/2 c. flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Combine sugar, shortening, oil, milk, almond extract and egg (by hand) mix well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Spread evenly in ungreased 10x15 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with 1 T. sugar, colored sugar or candies. Bake 10-12 minutes, until light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes, then cut into squares.
