1 Pkg. German Chocolate Cake Mix
2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk
3/4 Cup Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 (14 oz.) Bag Kraft Caramels
1 Cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cake mix with 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk and add melted butter. Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 9X13 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 6-8- minutes.
Melt caramels with the remaining 1/3 cup of evaporated milk. Pour caramel mixture over the baked mixture in pan. Drop remaining cake mix over caramel mixture and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 350 an additional 15-20 minutes. Do not over bake.
