2 cans sweet potatoes or 3 large sweet potatoes which have been peeled and boiled
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs beaten
1/3 c.milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla or 1 T. lemon juice

TOPPING:
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. ( or 1 c.?)brown sugar
1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
If you are not using the canned sweet potatoes,boil sweet potatoes in skins for half an hour or until soft, then peel while hot. Mash sweet potatoes with mixer. Blend in rest of first six ingredients. Pour in greased 2-quart casserole. Mix topping ingredients together and top sweet potato mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 or microwave on high for 16 minutes.
