1 pre-cooked 9 inch pie shell 4 cups fresh strawberries place in shell (If they are large, slice in half) 1 cup sugar 2 T. cornstarch 11/2 cups water 1- 3 ounce strawberry jello (do not use sugar free)
Cook sugar, cornstarch and water until clear (about 5 minutes) Take off heat and add strawberry jello. Stir until dissolved. Cool slightly and pour over berries a little at a time. Place pie in refrigerator and let set for at least 6 hours. Serve with cool whip.
