Ingredients:
Ingredients:
14 oz. pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix (dry)
3/4 c. melted margarine
1 c. chocolate chips/morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Cook 1/3 cup only of the evaporated milk and the caramels over low heat until melted.

Mix cake mix, margarine, and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. Mixture will be gooey. Put half of this mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350. Remove. Sprinkle one cup of chocolate chips/morsels over crust. Pour caramel mixture over chips. Flatten pieces of the remaining batter between your palms (like a pancake) and lay on top. There will be gaps between the pancaked batter where there will be no batter; but if you spread pieces evenly around the top, it will bake up just fine. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool and refrigerate.

Personal Notes:
You may include 1 cup of chopped nuts in the cake batter mixture if you desire.
