1 - 8 oz pkg. of lasagna noodles
1 lb. hamburger
2 cloves minced (optional)

8 oz. tomato paste or sauce
1 c. tomato juice (I usually add a little bit more)
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 small can mushrooms
1 t. oregano
1 t. salt
1 t. sugar
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. basil leaves

2 c. grated mozzarella
2 c. creamed cottage cheese
Parmesan cheese

Cook and drain lasagna noodles. Brown hamburger and drain fat. Add 2 cloves garlic minced (optional).

Simmer sauce ingredients for about 20 minutes, adding hamburger after simmering.

Layer in 9"x13" pan:
sauce, noodles, sauce, cheese (mozzarella), cottage cheese, noodles, sauce, cheese (mozzarella), top with Parmesan cheese.

Bake in covered pan at 350 degrees for approximately 75 min.
