1 lb shrimp
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 scallion stalks
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp grated ginger root
2 tbsp catsup
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp cold water
2 tbsp oil

Directions:
Directions:
Shell and devein shrimp. Remove tails. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Slice scallions thinly. Add to scallions. Add the catsup, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Blend the cornstarch with the cold water.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan. Add shrimp and stir fry 3-4 minutes. Add scallion and catsup mixture. Cook 2 minutes over low heat stirring frequently. Stir in cornstarch paste to thicken and serve at once.
