1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
1 can (3 oz.) chow mein noodles
1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips,
melted and cooled.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix coconut and noodles in a medium-size bowl. Add melted chocolate, stir with rubber spatula until well blended. Using the spatula, drop 12 mounds (2 tbsp. each) noodles mixture onto wax-paper lined cookie sheet. Press mounds lightly to compact. Sprinkle with remaining coconut. Refrigerate until firm. Can be stored at room temperature. Makes 12.
