1 pkg. (6 oz.) Uncle Ben's Long grain and wild rice original recipe
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
1 c. half and half
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed cooked chicken
1/3 c. diced pimento

Directions:
Directions:
Cook contents of rice and seasonings packets according to pkg. directions. While rice is cooking, melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onion and cook over low heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in half & half and chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in chicken, pimento and cooked rice. Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 400 oven for 30 minutes.
