2 lbs. Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
2 (8oz.) packages cream cheese
2 cans crescent rolls
1 large onion, chopped
1 jar sliced mushrooms
1/2 t. poppy seeds
2 egg whites, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet brown sausage and onion. Drain grease. While sausage mixture is still hot add cream cheese and mushrooms. Stir until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely. Separate crescent rolls into two rectangles (per can). Roll out with rolling pin. Form sausage into a log on top of dough (lengthwise down center). Fold over long sides of pastry, to cover sausage log. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg white. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake 20 minutes, until crust is golden. Slice into bite-size pieces.
