Ingredients:
1c. chopped pecans
1 c. shredded coconut
1 German chocolate cake mix--prepare the batter according to package directions.
1 stick butter/margarine, softened
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar
ice cream or whipping cream, for serving

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle the nuts and coconut in the bottom of the pan. Pour the prepared cake batter over the nuts and coconut. Prepare a thick "frosting" by beating together the butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Spoon this frosting in globs on top of the uncooked cake. Spread it lightly across the top--don't worry that the cake is not evenly covered. Place the cake on a cookie sheet to catch bubble-overs. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes, until set. It will look awful! Let cool. When ready to serve, invert each piece onto a plate and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
