Ingredients:  
1 chicken or preferred parts (I remove the skin)
1 c. soy sauce
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
hot, cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except chicken and rice in a large pot. Add chicken and marinate in refrigerator one hour or overnight. Boil 30-45 minutes, until cooked through. Serve over hot rice.
