1 1/2 C sugar
2 C water
1/4 C cornstarch
1 small pkg wild strawberry jello
1 quart strawberries
2 C confect. sugar
1 8oz cream cheese
1 16oz cool whip
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 angel food cake

Directions:
Directions:
Glaze: combine sugar,water,cornstarch & jello. bring to boil & cook for 1 minute. allow this to cool and thicken and then mix with strawberries.
Mix together: confect sugar,cream cheese, cool whip and vanilla.
Crumble angel food cake in pieces.
Layer in large bowl: 1/2 each of cake, then cool whip mixture, then strawberries.
Repeat.
Makes a large dessert & is really beautiful in a glass bowl.
