1 pound sausage (hot)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup water
1 8 ounce can Tomato sauce
1 6 ounce can Tomato paste
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage, onion and pepper in skillet, till crumbly and brown and very tender. Drain well -- add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Have large pan of cabbage cooked and drained. Pour sauce over cabbage and mix well. Serve with corn bread.
