1 lb. cubed Velveeta
4-oz. can chopped green chilies
16-oz. can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 tsp. dried minced onion
corn chip scoops or tortilla chips for dipping

Directions:

Heat all together in double boiler (or in microwave) or fondue pot until cheese is melted and hot.

This is Mom's recipe, originally from Sue Brown. We usually use a can of ro-tel tomatoes or some jarred picante sauce in place of the chilies, canned tomatoes and onion. Sometimes we have to thin it down with a little milk.
