2 sticks soft margarine/butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the ingredients. Cream the sugar and butter first then add the eggs and vanilla. Stir till fluffy. Add the remaining dry ingredients.
Put half of the batter in a greased cookie sheet. Dot with a can of prepared cherry pie filling. Spoon the remaining batter on top. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven or until the center is done.
While warm, drizzle with a thin powdered sugar frosting.
