5 ears of sweet corn, husked and silk removed
1/2 c small-diced red onion
3 T cider vinegar
3 T olive oil
1/2 t coarse salt or sea salt
1/2 t coarsely ground black pepper
Chile pepper to taste
1/2 c fresh basil leaves
