3 lb. stew meat
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup or Golden Cream of Mushroom soup
2 pkg. of onion soup mix
1 can ginger ale
1 (4-oz.) can mushrooms, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Combine stew meat, soup, onion soup mix, ginger ale, and mushrooms in a Dutch oven. Cover with foil and then put the lid on. Cook 3 hr. at 300. DO NOT remove cover until done. Serve over rice of noodles.

Kay is the wife of Cecil Newman, the daughter of Virginia (Rogers) Hollenshead & the late John Hollenshead & the granddaughter of the late Charlie & Carrie (Wade) Hollenshead. Talk about an unusual recipe! I'm always looking for something a little bit different, and this fit the bill.
