1 T. salt 6 cups thin cucumber slices 1 cup onion slices 1 cup green pepper strips 2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp. celery seed 1 cup vinegar
Sprinkle salt over cucumber slices, onion slices, and the pepper strips; let stand for 2 hours and then drain. Dissolve the sugar and celery seed with vinegar, pour over vegetables. Refrigerate. These will keep for 3 months or longer in the refrigerator.
