1 lb. pork sausage
1 large onion, chopped
2 cans kidney beans
1 14-oz. can tomatoes
1 qt. water
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 c. diced potatoes (I use lots more!)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage with onion in soup pot. Drain. Add remaining ingredients except peppers and potatoes. Simmer, uncovered, for one hour. Add potatoes and peppers. Cook covered 15-20 minutes until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf.
