1c sugar
4tbsp molasses
2 level tsp baking soda in 2c of flour
1tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Make in marble size balls and roll in sugar. Place balls on floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 until firm and light brown.

I lifted this recipe from a card written in my great-grandmother's handwriting (which wasn't easy to read). From what I remember, these cookies are very delicate so handle with care.
