1 1/2-2 cups diced bacon I head cabbage
1 lb. hamburger 1 can tomato juice
1 lg. can diced tomatoes
1 c. uncooked rice
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
Garlic, salt, pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Steam entire head of cabbage in water, removing outside leaves as they become loose. Arrange 1/3 c. of filling per leaf of cabbage, roll tightly, and lay in bottom of heavy soup pot. Continue until filling is gone. Cover all tamales with lg can of tomato juice (adding water if needed to cover). Simmer for at least 2 hours.
