2 1/2c sifted cake flour
1 1/2c sugar
3tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
1/2c shortening
1c milk
1tsp vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Drop in shortening, 2/3c milk, and vanilla. Beat together for 2 minutes on medium speed. Add 1/3c milk and eggs. Beat for another 2 minutes. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
