1 - 9" pie shell, chilled
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar, until light and fluffy, add flour, salt, and vanilla, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. After each addition stir milk in slowly. Pour into well-chilled pie shell and bake in hot oven, 450 for 10 minutes and then reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until firm.
