2 pounds asparagus
1/2 cup olive oil
3 Tbls white balsamic or wine vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 (8 oz) packages small fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales with vegetable peeler Cook asparagus in boiling water to cover 2 minutes. Remove asparagus, plunge into ice water to stop cooking process, drain and chill. Combine oil and next 7 ingredients in a large bowl, add mushrooms; chilI 8 hours. Add asparagus 30 minutes before serving with a slotted spoon.
