2 c. sugar
2/3 c. canned milk
6 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. karo syrup
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt and cocoa together until well blended. Add canned milk, shortening and karo syrup and boil on low heat for 2 minutes, (or 1 minute and 45 seconds) depending on your elevation.

Cool completely and then whip. (It will go a lighter brown color). Spread on cooled cake.
