8 slices French bread (1/2" thick)
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. Strawberry jab or other flavor
5 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp sifted powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Spread cream cheese on 1 side of bread for 4 slices
Spread jam on 1 side of bread for the other 4 slices
Form a sandwich with cream cheese and jam in center
In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and almond extract
Melt margarine in pan
Dip sandwiches in egg mixture on both sides, place in pan and cook both sides
To serve sprinkle with powder sugar and syrup.
