1 1/2 cup water
2 - 15 oz cream-style corn
1 - 12 oz can evaporated milk
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water

Directions:

In a large pot, add all ingredients but cornstarch. Begin cooking on a medium-high heat. Stir to keep soup from burning on bottom of pot.

When soup begins to boil, quickly add dissolved cornstarch. Stir well until soup comes to a boil again and becomes thickened.
