1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
dash dry mustard
dash garlic powder
salt/pepper to taste
Pasta
1 large tomato
1/2-1 red onion
1 bell pepper
1 cucumber

Directions:
Directions:
Heat first 5 ingredients in small saucepan on stove until sugar desolved. Cool completely. Cook pasta according to package and drain. Cool in large bowl. Chop remaining ingredients and mix together with pasta. Add sugar/vinegar dressing and toss. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

My 18-year old daughter is addicted to this pasta salad. She made her own version "without all the nasty vegetables" and used carrots and grapes.
