Apple Mixture:
3 cups peeled, sliced apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 rounded tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Topping:
3/4 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup margarine or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apple ingredients together and place in an 8x8 baking pan.

Mix together topping ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over apple mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

John's favorite! With heaping scoops of ice cream, of course (slightly melted in the microwave!) Or even better with just real cream poured over it.
