3 cups plus 3 tbsp. flour
Salt
1 1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
12 med. apples, peeled & sliced
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 3cups flour and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add 7 tbsp. cold water and egg. Mix well. Roll into two 12 x 17 rectangles. Fit 1 into 10 x 15 baking pan. Mix applies with sugar, cinnamon and 3 tbsp. flour. Spread in prepared pan. Top with remaining pastry. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool. Top with powdered sugar frosting, cut into bars.
