1 box yellow cake mix
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
2 large cans crushed pineapple, drained
1 can cherry pie filling
1 large container cool whip
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake according to directions making 2 layers. Allow cake to cool. Prepare pudding according to package directions. Then crumble one layer of cake in bottom of punch bowl, pour 1/2 of pudding mix over cake. Crumble the other layer of cake into bowl and pour rest of pudding mix over that layer. Add pineapple, then cherry pie filling, then cool whip. Sprinkle nuts on top.

This makes a large cake but is not a true punch bowl size. A glass top cake saver or large glass bowl works great.
