1/4 c butter or oleo
1/4 cup flour
1/2 t salt
1/4 t each garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil,marjorime and thyme
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup half and half
8 oz. med. egg noodles, cooked and drained
3 medium ripe avocadoes, peeled and sliced
3 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

In a large saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour and seasonings until smooth. Gradually add mild and cream. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. In a greased 13 by 9 by 2 in. baking dish, layer half of the noodles, avocadoes, chicken, white sauce, and cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes longer until bubbly.
