3 to 4 c. sliced raw potatoes 1 onion, sliced in rings 1/4 stick butter or margarine 1 1/2 c. milk shredded cheese of your choice salt and pepper to taste
Heat oven to 400º. Arrange potatoes in layer in 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Also put onion rings in layer with the potatoes. Put salt, pepper and margarine on top and add milk. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour.
