1 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. milk
16 oz. Cool Whip
1 lg. angel food cake
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and cream cheese. Blend in milk and Cool Whip. Slice angel food cake (make cake yourself or buy a ready made one) in thin slices and place 1/2 of the slices in a 9in x 13in pan (electric knife to slice pieces works best). Spread half of cheese mixture over slices. Repeat layers with remaining cake slices and cheese mixture. Spread cherry pie filling on top.
Refrigerate overnight.

I got this recipe from a former co-worker.
If using as a Christmas dessert, add sprig of mint to each side (red, green, white) for a festive look.
