1/3 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 mashed ripe bananas
2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 box confectioner sugar (Powdered)

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Blend in vanilla and add bananas. Mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, stirring just until combined. Add walnuts. Pour into greased and floured 10 in. bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until cake test done. Cool on wire rack. Dust with confectioner sugar.
