2 lbs.. ground beef
2 cups cooked white rice
salt & pepper
1 egg
2 heads of cabbage
salt & pepper
water
vinegar
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Par boil cabbage until leaves are soft for pulling apart. Put the cabbage in cold water, cut out core and pull off the leaves and place in colander. The first few leaves save for putting on top of golombki before cooking them. Cook rice according to package. Saute hamburg in large pan adding salt & pepper. When cooked add egg and mix in till cooked. At this time add the rice and some water until consistency is soft. You might have to add salt & pepper to your taste. When done put large spoonful of beef mixture into cabbage leaves and roll up & put into roasting pan. Add pieces of butter on top and then add water and vinegar. Use 1/2 c of vinegar to 1 1/2 cups of water. Put reserved cabbage leaves on top and bake in oven at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until done. You might have to add more water and vinegar half way through. Finish off with brown butter.
