1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 T. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix butter, sugar, eggs thoroughly. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in separate bowl. Blend dry ingredients with butter mixture. Chill dough 10-15 minutes. Mix sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Roll 1" spoonfuls of dough into balls, roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture. Coat entire ball. Place on chilled ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
