1 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg yolk 2 c. flour pinch salt 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix the above and spread thin on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 325º for 15-20 minutes. Melt 1 pkg. chocolate chips and 1 pkg. caramel chips together and spread on while still warm. Sprinkle ground nuts on top.
