1/2 cup margarine
1 cup quick oats
11/4 cups boiling water
1 1/3 cups flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon or vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt

Topping
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place margarine, oats and hot water in a bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 325 for 40 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes. Spread topping on cake and put under the broiler for five minutes.
