3-4 cups cubed ham, 8 medium potatoes (about 2 1/2 pounds) sliced, 1 container (16 ounces) of sour cream, 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of celery soup, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese if preferred, 3 T. chopped, cooked bacon, optional.

Mix all ingredients, place in buttered baking dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees until potatoes are tender and bubbly, about 1 1/2 hours.
