2 dried heels of bread--crumbled fine,
1 c. flour,
4 tsp. baking powder,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. grated apple,
1 egg,
2/3 c. milk,
2 tbl. shortening.
















Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well. Fill muffin pan 2/3 full. Bake 25 min. at 425.
For variations, substitute 1/2 c. bran or graham flour or soy bean flour for 1/2 c. white flour. Or substitute 2 tbl. wheat germ for 1 tbl. white flour
