l lb. vanilla wafers
1 qt. pecans
1/2 lb. raisins
1 can Eagle Brand milk
4 1/2 tsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Roll vanilla wafers into fine crumbs, then add milk and water. Add pecans and raisins. Press into buttered loaf pan and place in icebox. Slice as needed.

Velma was the wife of the late Chester "Jake" Hollenshead and the sister-in-law of Jeane (Hollenshead) Finkbeiner who contributed this recipe in their memory. It is a "Hollenshead Family Classic" and was taken from Jeane's family cookbook "Favorite Recipes of the Hollensheads."
