1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 pound light golden brown sugar 1/2 cup milk 3/4 cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter 1 pound confectioners' sugar
In medium saucepan, melt butter, stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil; boil and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Mix in confectioner's' sugar; beat until smooth. Spread into buttered 9 inch square baking pan.l Chill until firm. Cut into squares
