1/4 Cup cornstarch
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
3 bananas, sliced
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Add a little of hot mixture to egg yolks, return to hot mixture and cook 1 minute longer. Stir in margarine and vanilla. Cool. Arrange banana slices in baked 9 inch pie shell. Pour cooled filling over bananas.
